Six o'clock, every day

A beach club lives or dies on one hour of the day, and Sundara wanted that hour bottled — without the crowd, the plastic cups and the harsh flash that usually comes with it.

We shot the same sunset four times over a week to get the sky the team actually wanted, and used the quiet mornings for the architecture, the terrazzo detail and the drinks list. Staff stood in as talent, which kept the frames honest and the release paperwork simple.

The reel was cut short on purpose. Forty-five seconds is enough to make somebody book a table; anything longer and they stop watching before the sun goes down.
